Materials:
Duck Tape, Scissors, Jump rings, Thick sewing needle, Any type of earring finding such as a Sheppard's hook, Pliers and Chain (or recycle an old necklace)
Step 1.
Cut out 2 pieces of duck tape about 5 inches long each.
Step 2.
Fold the duck tape in half, having the colour facing outwards.
Step 3.
Cut out your duck tape into a feather shape. You can make your own template or print one off from the internet, or you can also do it free hand like I did!
Step 4.
Cut out little slits on the side of you feather to add some texture and to make it more realistic.
Step 5.
Gently score the middle of the leaf with the scalpel. Creating a line down the centre and barely cutting the top layer of the duct tape.
Step 6.
Use your sewing needle to poke a hole through the top of your feather...this is were your jump ring will go.
Step 7.
After placing your jump ring through the hole, place your chain in the jump ring and then close it. (I just used my hands to open the jump ring)
Step 8.
Attach another jump ring to the other end of the chain and then your earring finding or shepherds hook. Then close the jump ring.
P.S You can also add as many feathers that you want to your earrings. Feel free to make your own ideas!
Then You're DONE! Enjoy your New Feather Earrings.
Thanks!
