DIY No Sew Shorts

In this video I am showing you how to make a pair of shorts from an old pair of pants.  This is a great idea for summer when the whether is nice and hot.  This is a very easy DIY and no sewing required what so ever.  Hope you Enjoy!

DIY Cookies!

DIY Cookies from cake mix!

I am going to be showing you how to make some delicious cookies from cake mix and a few simple ingredients!

 















Materials:
  • Cake mix (I'm using cupcake mix) 
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon All purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Bowl
  • Pan
  • Tin foil/Pan spray 

 Step One:
In a big bowl mix together cake mix, all purpose flour, vanilla and melted butter.
Note: I like to mix the cake mix by itself first so there are no clumps in the mix.






Step 2:
Mix in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
Step 3:

Place tin foil onto your pan.
Step 4:
Place you cookie batter in scoops into the pan.
Bake in the oven on 350 degrees for 14-16 min.














Step 5:
Once they are done cooking, let then cool for 3-5 min and they are ready to eat!

Your Done!

DIY Earrings

DIY Earrings





Want a new pair of earrings?  Want them to match your style? Well here you are...DIY earrings that you can make under 20 min, make them match your sense of style, and cost under 10$.  What a steal huh?

Supplies:
  • Cutting pliers
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers
  • Seed beads
  • Wire
  • Jump rings
  • Crimping beads
  • Earring hooks
  • Ruler

                                                  



Step 1:

Cut out 2 pieces of wire with a length of 4 1/2 inches long.








Step 2:

Using your needle nose pliers, curl one end of the wire.








Step 3:

Next place your crimping bead on the end of the loop and crimp the bead with flat nose pliers.











Step 4:

Then choosing any colors you like, feed the seed beads onto the wire in any pattern you choose.
  











Step 5:

Then after repeating step 2&3 on the other end of the wire.  Place a jump ring through the two loops, then add your earring hook and close the jump ring.



















Your All Done!!
Enjoy your new pair of earrings.

Do you have journal or have always tried to keep up with one but never can?  Well this should solve your problem, and make journal writing a lot more exciting.  Each day you write in your journal pull out a question and write about something exciting!

Materials:
  • Paper 
  • Mason jar
  • Mailing tabs or contact paper
  • Pen 
  • Marker
  • Scissors





















Step one:

Grab your mailing tabs or contact paper and place a tab on your jar.
















Step two:

Next write "Journal Jar" (This step is optional)  You may also write anything you wish to...Be CREATIVE! 
I went the simple way.




















Step three:

Cut our several slips of paper and write out different questions on them that you can answer in you journal.
You can also write your favorite quotes.

Ex:  If I could go back in time...
      The funniest thing I saw today was...

What you will need.


  • Photos/Cards
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Paperclips, Close-pins  
  • Push pins 







Step one

Cut out your ribbon with scissors.








Step two

Pin up the ribbon with the push-pins.




Step three
With the paper clips or the close-pins hang up your photos and cards onto the ribbon. 






Then you are Finished!!
Enjoy your beautiful walls with cards and photos from loved ones!
